The application of silicone defoamer will make the production of silicone products more smooth.
Defoaming principle of silicone defoamer:
Silicone defoamer is a biologically inert defoamer refined by special process with modified polysiloxane as the main component, emulsifier, dispersant and stabilizer. When silicone defoamer is added to the foam system, it will diffuse to the gas-liquid interface, making it difficult for the surfactant with foam stabilizing effect to recover the membrane elasticity. The discharge rate of foam can reflect the stability of foam. Adding a substance to accelerate the discharge of foam can also play a role in defoaming. The hydrophobic solid particles on the bubble surface will attract the hydrophobic end of the surfactant, making the hydrophobic particles hydrophilic and enter the water phase, thus playing the role of defoaming.
Addition amount of silicone defoamer:
1. Adjust the usage according to different bubble systems, and the recommended usage range is 0 05-0.3%. Stable performance in high temperature system above 180 ° C. Gently stir before use.
2. When using, directly add or dilute with water and working solution and stir evenly to save usage. Stable performance in aqueous system at 180 ℃. The diluted defoamer should not be left for a long time. If it is left standing for a long time, it is better to stir it gently before use.
Application of silicone defoamer:
Silicone defoamer is applicable to defoaming of metal cutting fluid, metal cleaning, oil processing grinding fluid and alkaline cleaning fluid. It is suitable for defoaming of textile, printing and dyeing, lotion polymerization, civil washing, various color pastes and low-grade coatings. It is applicable to industrial circulating water, water treatment, and other water phase defoaming.
